I have yet to understand the cause of our fate, but many dragons disobeyed the Divine Dragon elders and leaders. They grew obsessed with remaining dragons, lost sight of themselves, and became beasts. When they began attacking humans, the Divine Dragon ruler decided to seal away dragonkind. She did not wish history to remember the last days of dragons as a tragic war between us and humanity. She made the choice for those of us who had already become manaketes as well. My thoughts grow clearer as I speak with you.
