In such a remote area, where aiding us would bring no honor, we were destined to be abandoned. When the adults of the village had given up hope, a stranger appeared and routed the bandits, just like that! There was no doubt it was a knight. I will never forget how I felt in that moment, being saved by a stranger... I wanted to be just like that. Which is why I aspired to become a knight of Pherae.
