| When the majority of Chalphy's forces left for Isaach, Lord Sigurd was left to protect the castle. There were so few remaining, mostly young ones like me, Alec, and Arden. Then Verdane invaded Yngvi castle. When Lord Sigurd learned of this, he mustered our meager forces to fight off the barbarians himself. Though it was to save Lady Edain, with whom he was close, I wonder... who else could act in such a manner? His valor was like that of a mythical hero... Recalling it, even now... I tremble. No matter what, I wish to uphold the justice preached by Lord Sigurd.
