I'm Deen. I've heard Hatari's a place where people like me can enjoy a show of strength. | |

I was told I must wear this outfit to participate in the festival. It wouldn't be my first choice of attire... | |
Soldiers don't have the luxury of choosing their battlefields. This isn't my first fight in arid conditions. | |
The festival atmosphere is lively and fun, but the bloodlust...is palpable. | |
This festival isn't a game. I'm here to prove my strength in gladiatorial combat. No one will stop me. |
I don't need anyone cheering me on. But I won't try to stop you, either. | |

Are they all cheering for me? Huh. What an odd thing to hear. | |
This is just a festival? Maybe. But the combat's real. I'm not going to take it easy on you. |
Ugh. I'm better than this... |
강화
Something that can help me during my fights? I'd be a fool to say no. | 祭りの報酬というわけか。 |

Whenever I swing my blade, death's at hand. Either my opponent's gonna lose their life, or I am. A soldier has to kill to live. The longer you survive, the more blood you get on your hands. This festival's different though. Here, the loser lives to fight again. Just with a well-bruised ego. I didn't respect my opponents at first. But now I get that there's merit to sparring and not dueling to the death. My opponents took me seriously, and were proud to test their skill against mine. They taught me to do the same. This festival has made me reconsider what it means to have strength, and I'll always be grateful for that. |

Here, I get to test myself against the best of the best. It's a fair reward for enduring the crowds. | |
I know the festival's exciting, but go be excited somewhere else. | … |
